Early childhood intervention preschool
KU Stepping Stones Early Intervention Preschool provides a preschool program that supports young children (aged 2-5 years) who have a disability or developmental delay.
About KU Stepping Stones Early Intervention Preschool
At KU Stepping Stones, we create a safe and nurturing environment where childhood is celebrated, and families are supported.
We are proud of our longstanding reputation within the Macarthur area of providing high quality education and care tailored to each child’s needs in a family-focussed and supportive way.
With high staff to child ratios (1:3), staff foster each child’s development by encouraging them to explore, experiment and challenge themselves while playing alongside their peers.
Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
Working together
KU Stepping Stones staff work collaboratively with families and other professionals, as required, by providing tools and strategies to help children meet their individual learning goals and to achieve the best outcomes.
Children are supported to:
- engage in natural play environments
- enhance communication skills
- interact and engage with others
- learn through play
- develop and practice gross and fine motor skills
- explore using their senses
- develop and practice self-help skills
- access and participate in mainstream early childhood education and care settings
Our quality

KU Stepping Stones Early Intervention Preschool has been independently assessed by the NSW Department of Education and are proud to be rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard.
We believe that the warm and authentic interactions children have with our staff are the most important component of our high-quality program. Our team of teachers and educators are qualified, experienced, caring and motivated.
