We are excited to announce that KU Crusader Preschool has been awarded the Early Childhood Australia (ECA) 2025 SPROuts Practice Award for excellence in sustainability education within an early childhood setting.
This recognition highlights projects where children actively contribute to caring for the environment and building a sustainable future.
At KU Crusader, staff and children have been undertaking a ‘water is life’ project to support the children’s growing ecological awareness and stewardship of the environment. They have created a natural habitat within the service’s outdoor environment to support the local frog population and installed a rainwater tank to conserve potable water that nurtures the ecosystem.
