On Monday, 15 December, KU Padstow Preschool celebrated 50 years of delivering high quality education and care in partnership with the local community.
Amongst attendees was special guest MP Kylie Wilkinson, State Member for East Hills, as well as past and present staff, children and families.
Guests heard speeches from Kylie Wilkinson, whose children previously attended the preschool; KU Children’s Services CEO, Christine Legg; and service Director, Nicole Torossian, each acknowledging the services quality learning program and connections with the Padstow community.
Speeches were followed by a cutting of the cake and refreshments. An exhibition of children’s art was also on display.
“Gathered today in this beautiful leafy setting, we celebrate the remarkable milestone of half a century of quality play-based learning at KU Padstow and the local partnerships with families built over many years,” said Christine Legg.
KU Padstow is situated in a natural parkland location, with an expansive and inviting outdoor play area and dedicated parking for easy drop-off and pick-up.
