KU Cobbitty Preschool has been involved in the MATEY project, an initiative from Camden Council linking children from the preschool with residents from Carrington Care.
The children and residents have sent and received letters, artworks, gifts and joined Zoom catch ups with each other, which have helped build connections across generations and reduce social isolation, and the relationships have continued well beyond the initial 8-week program.
