What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme, also known as NDIS, is run by the National Disability Insurance Agency, also known as the NDIA.
The NDIS can help fund reasonable and necessary supports and services for individuals with a disability or developmental delay.
NDIS pathways
NDIS support options differ for children aged birth to 9 years and children aged 9 years and older. Each NDIS pathway aims to give children quick access to the support they need.
Early childhood intervention supports
- For children from birth to 9 years
The NDIS early childhood approach provides children younger than 9 years of age with access to early intervention support options, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances, when you have concerns about your child’s development, or if your child has a disability or developmental delay.
KU’s NDIS services
KU is a registered provider of early childhood supports under the NDIS.
At KU you will find a variety of programs and therapy options to support your child and family's individual needs.
