The KU Tree Tops Playground Re-Opening Ceremony on 28th October 2010 was a great success.  Among the attendees were David Streat, MLC People and Culture General Manager and KU CEO, Sheridan Dudley.

David gave a speech which described the process of refurbishment at Tree Tops from indoors to outdoors over the last few years.  He thanked the staff and families for their understanding as the project took longer than expected.

Sheridan responded by saying the outdoor refurbishment is an example of the shared commitment by NAB and KU to play based learning and natural outdoor learning environments. Tree Tops is a centre that KU can be proud of.

The Preschool children expressed their thanks for the new playground by singing “The Three Bears Rap”. Gifts of thanks were presented from the children  to David Streat, Annie Lim and Sheridan Dudley. Liz Pahor, KU Area Manager and Sarah Lawson, KU Tree Tops Director (currently on maternity leave) were also thanked for their hard work to organise the refurbishments.
