KU has welcomed today’s release of the Productivity Commission Inquiry Report in relation to Childcare and Early Childhood Learning.

“This is a long awaited and extensive report on a complex and important issue. It is important that we take our time to work through the recommendations and rationale thoroughly. However there are some aspects of the Report which jump out at us right away,” explained Christine Legg, KU’s Chief Executive Officer.

KU believes that there will be both winners and losers if the recommendations are implemented, and ultimately the biggest challenge remains the lack of funding to implement new ideas.
