KU Osborne Park Preschool has celebrated their 50th anniversary of providing quality early childhood education and care to local families by holding a community event.

The special event was attended by Lane Cove Mayor, Pam Palmer, KU Children’s Services CEO, Christine Legg, as well as children, families and staff from the preschool.

“We had a wonderful time celebrating our 50th anniversary and it was lovely to recognise this special milestone with our local community,” said KU Osborne Park Director, Lisa Milham.

“We are very proud of the positive impact our preschool has had on the lives of young children and their families over the last 50 years and we are looking forward to continuing to provide the best possible start in life for children for another 50 years.”

The celebrations included the launch of the preschool’s Street Library, activities for the children, face painting, a Kindi Farm, speeches and an afternoon tea.

“It was an exciting and fun-filled afternoon with lots to do and see. The children were particularly excited for the opening of our Street Library which will allow us to share our love of reading and storytelling with the Lane Cove community,” said Lisa.
