NSW Treasurer, Dominic Perrottet MP, and Minister for Early Childhood Education, Sarah Mitchell MLC, have this morning attended KU Randwick Coogee Preschool to announce additional funding for NSW early childhood services.
The initiative includes $217 million of additional new funding for community preschools and grants for long day care services, building on the existing Start Strong funding.
KU welcomes the move which provides a significant and positive step towards making early childhood education more affordable for families.
