KU is thrilled with this morning’s announcement by the Victorian Minister for Early Childhood Ingrid Stitt, and Local MP Melissa Horne, that KU will receive $1m towards our new centre being constructed in Maddox Rd, Newport.

This funding forms part of an announcement that seven new early learning facilities and five new integrated children’s centres are among a $46.9million Building Blocks program to boost kindergarten places and improve learning spaces for children in Victoria.

KU is also investing $3.2million to the purpose built Newport development; an 84 place long day care centre with 44 three and four year old Kindergarten places. Construction is set to commence in early 2021.

KU looks forward to helping meet the demand for three year old enrolments and population growth in Victoria.
