KU Board Chair, David McCracken, and Chief Executive Officer, Christine Legg, were joined by the NSW Minister for Early Childhood Education, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, and Assistant Minister for Education, The Hon. Leslie Williams MP, and Reconciliation Australia RAP Program Officer, Caitlin Maxwell, to launch KU’s first Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) at the recent KU Annual Conference.

The launch of the Innovate RAP signifies a significant milestone in KU’s history, and recognises the organisation’s commitment to promoting positive change for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

“Our work in developing this Reconciliation Action Plan will ensure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures and histories are appreciated and reflected throughout KU, as we continue to strengthen our commitment to practices of reconciliation”, said Christine Legg, KU CEO.
