KU Children’s Services has officially opened its new Child Care Centre as part of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP). KU operates nine child care centres within Navitas AMEP colleges in Sydney, providing care for the children of migrants enrolled in AMEP language classes. The children at the centre represent a diverse range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
“Opening our new centre at the Hurstville AMEP college is an exciting opportunity for KU Children’s Services and Navitas English to continue working together to support the successful settlement of new families in Australia”, says KU CEO, Chris Legg.
“KU is delighted to take part in such an enriching and worthwhile celebration.”
The Official Opening was attended by KU CEO, Christine Legg, Navitas English Executive General Manager, Helen Zimmerman, centre families, staff, and guests from the local community.
