Over 50% of Australian child care centres have failed to meet the National Quality Standards.

The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) have visited centres assessing various areas including, the educational program and practice, children’s health and safety, physical environment, staffing arrangements, relationships with children, collaborative partnerships with families and communities and leadership and service management.
