The children and staff at KU Peninsula Preschool have been very excited to get back out into the community for their regular excursions.

“It’s wonderful to be back out in the community. Although it’s different and we can’t visit everyone, we have missed our explorations,” said KU Peninsula Director, Mark Taylor.

“A favourite spot to learn, investigate and ponder life is the waterfront, just minutes from our preschool. The children have the opportunity to connect with nature, run in the sand, climb rocks and paddle in the water. These connections to land, people and place supports children’s growth and learning, about who they are, their impact on society and who they are becoming.”
