$25M Funding Boost

The NSW government has announced a $25million initiative to encourage greater 4 year old participation in NSW preschools. The initiative includes $20million to reduce fees for 4 year olds, and $5million for capital works in targeted areas across NSW.

The announcement also included the NSW Government’s release of the ‘Review of the NSW Government Funding for Early Childhood Education’, conducted by Professor Debra Brennan of the Social Policy Research Centre, University of NSW.
