KU Grevillea - TerraCycle

KU Grevillea Preschool has recently become a community collection hub for oral care products through the TerraCycle program.

TerraCycle is a social enterprise which has the aim of eliminating hard to recycle materials. The community can now drop off oral care waste items such as toothpaste tubes and caps, floss containers, toothbrushes and more into a collection basket at the preschool’s entry.

The preschool is counting the waste products using a collection chart and a measurement thermometer with the aim of collecting 125 items in recognition of KU’s 125th anniversary and the theme of social impact.
