KU Kira - 125 Sustainable Ways of Living & Learning

KU Kira has commemorated the 125th anniversary of KU by creating a book titled '125 Sustainable Ways of Living & Learning at KU Kira', which documents the service's sustainable practices and initiatives that children, educators and the community have begun to implement within daily routines, practices and the educational program.

The KU Kira team and community hold strong values around sustainability, natural environments, play spaces and their indigenous connection to the Gadigal people. This forms a strong philosophical basis for centre practices and genuine program engagement exists.

KU Kira hopes that the book will start conversations, guide practices and bring awareness to our natural world and its fragile state.
