On-response training

Our experienced presenters can provide training to meet the needs of your centre.

If you can't join us at one of our scheduled Professional Development Calendar sessions we can provide sessions at your centre or other locations. Consider offering a training session with other centres in your area to minimise costs.

Examples of our most popular workshops we could offer at your centre are:

Guiding Children's Behaviour Workshop

This workshop addresses the area of behaviour based on a philosophy of social and physical environment promoting positive behaviour in children. The approach uses an understanding of child development and includes preventative, responsive and proactive approaches. It supports the implementation of the KU Guiding Children's Behaviour Policy. This is a 2 part workshop offered on the same day or two workshops separated by a number of weeks.

Total Communication Workshop

Total Communication is an approach that uses a variety of methods including speaking, showing objects, photos, symbols and signing to enhance children's development. It can benefit children with additional needs and children who are developing typically. Strategies including the use of visual aids, signing and resources will be explored.

Inclusion - a team approach

This workshop explores the ‘whole of centre' approach to inclusion - promoting understanding, skills and confidence in working with children with additional needs.

Please email kusolutions@ku.com.au with your professional development requirements to see how we could help you.

You do not need to purchase a KU Solutions Membership Package to use our consultancy services or attend training courses.
